At Shiloh’s Car Sales, we believe in transparency and customer confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the coverage, limitations, and responsibilities related to vehicle warranties offered through our dealership.
Vehicle Warranty Coverage
Vehicles sold by Shiloh’s Car Sales may include one of the following, depending on the vehicle and agreement at the time of purchase:
Remaining manufacturer’s factory warranty (if applicable)
Optional third-party extended warranty or service contract
Vehicles sold “As-Is” with no warranty
Warranty details are clearly disclosed before purchase and documented in writing at the time of sale.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
If a vehicle is still covered under the original manufacturer’s warranty, that warranty remains the responsibility of the manufacturer and is subject to their terms and conditions.
Shiloh’s Car Sales does not modify or extend manufacturer warranties.
Extended Warranty / Service Contracts
Customers may have the option to purchase an extended warranty or vehicle service contract through a third-party provider. Coverage, duration, and exclusions vary by provider and plan.
All claims, repairs, and approvals under an extended warranty are handled directly by the warranty provider. Shiloh’s Car Sales is not responsible for claim approvals or denials but will assist customers with warranty documentation when needed.
As-Is Vehicle Sales
Unless otherwise stated in writing, vehicles sold by Shiloh’s Car Sales are sold “As-Is”, meaning:
No warranty is expressed or implied
The dealership makes no guarantees regarding future repairs or performance
The buyer assumes full responsibility after purchase
Customers are encouraged to inspect and test-drive vehicles thoroughly before completing a purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty coverage does not include:
Normal wear and tear (brake pads, tires, fluids, filters)
Routine maintenance
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or modifications
Repairs performed without warranty provider approval
Specific exclusions are outlined in each warranty or service contract.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:
Follow manufacturer maintenance guidelines
Keep service and repair records
Report mechanical issues promptly
Use approved repair facilities when required
Failure to meet these requirements may void warranty coverage.
Limitation of Liability
Shiloh’s Car Sales is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from vehicle use, breakdowns, or warranty claims. All warranty obligations are limited to the terms stated in the applicable warranty agreement.
Policy Updates
Shiloh’s Car Sales reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
